Bank Melli (BAM) does not work from abroad
The problem is not your account or your phone. It is where you connect from.
Short answer
Bank Melli (BAM) does not open from outside Iran because it refuses your request based on your IP address, not because anything is wrong with your account or your phone. The fix is to connect from an Iranian IP, and to have an Iranian mobile number to receive the login code. TTunnels provides an Iranian IP over WireGuard that works on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS and is delivered immediately after payment.
What you see
The BAM login page does not load, or it returns a system error after you enter your password. The mobile app hangs on a checking screen.
Why it happens
Bank Melli runs on domestic infrastructure and rejects foreign requests at the network edge, before any account check happens.
What fixes it
Connect from an Iranian IP and Bank Melli (BAM) sees you the way it sees a user inside the country, and serves the same page it always did. You import a WireGuard config on your phone or laptop and connect.
What the IP does not solve
For Bank Melli (BAM) you also need an Iranian mobile number to receive the login code. Better to know that now than after you have paid.
